Regional Sales/Service engineer iberia (center) – Field/sales & service (m/f/d)

ITW Diagraph

Diagraph develops, manufactures, and distributes a comprehensive range of marking and coding equipment for the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and chemical industries. This position primarily focuses on the sales and service and consulting of our product range to customers in Iberia (center)

Skills / Experience

  • At least five years of experience in sales/service of technical product solutions, combined with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Experience in the coding/printing/inkjet industry is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various printing technologies is desirable.
  • Fluent in Spanish; English skills are advantageous.
  • High willingness to travel.
  • Experience in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical production industries; interest in new industry trends and requirements.
  • Strong computer skills and excellent presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and managing offers largely independently.
  • Tracking customer orders and inquiries.
  • Managing and supporting the existing customer base.
  • Meeting sales targets according to company guidelines.
  • Expanding the customer base through new customer acquisition.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned sales region.
  • Conducting sales negotiations with customers on-site.
  • Performing administrative tasks from a home office.
  • Handling additional assigned tasks as required.
  • Service repairs maintenance installation and trainings to customers.

Qualifications / Education

  • Market Introduction of the Technology:

      • Develop and implement strategies for introducing new technology to the market.
      • Identify and analyze market trends, target audiences, and competitors to maximize market opportunities.
      • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Application:

      • Support the adaptation of technology to meet customers' specific needs.
      • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
      • Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Service, Procurement, and Application) to gather feedback and continuously improve internal and external processes.
  • Sales and Business Development:

      • Acquire new customers and projects through targeted sales initiatives.
      • Prepare and negotiate offers, contracts, and pricing strategies.
      • Monitor and analyze sales figures and trends to adjust the sales strategy accordingly.
  • Project Management:

      • Coordinate the implementation of technology at customer sites, including scheduling and resource management.
      • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and support.
  • Reporting and Documentation:

      • Prepare regular reports on progress, challenges, and successes.
      • Document customer requirements, market feedback, and sales activities.
